The original was painted with Golden Fluid Acrylics on wood panel.

I was inspired to paint Moo-Beams because of my love of Midwest sunsets, rural landscapes and UFO folklore. Locally we have some pretty out there stories like UFO sightings, crop circles, and even the Men in Black. I find a lot of humor and wonder in these stories. So I painted a peaceful cow under a bright Midwest sky, completely oblivious to the UFO in the distance.

The painting was on exhibit at the Kansas State Fair in 2025 where it won an Award of Merit.
