Only a Dream Print
Only a Dream Print
I came home one day and noticed a bunch of mailboxes and lockboxes on crooked posts along my driveway. They weren't there when I left. I felt a little creeped out and scared. I didn't know how they got there or worse, why they were there. I continued up my driveway and saw that in addition to the weird collection of metal boxes in my yard, a payphone had been installed by my front door. I felt panic as I looked around my street to see if anyone was there. I didn't see anyone right away. What I did see, was payphones by everyone's front door on the street. I started to panic some more as I called my husband and the neighbors came out of their houses, also freaking out about the payphones. Our house was the only house with mailboxes and lockboxes all over the yard. My husband came home while I was talking to the neighbors. We were all scared and needed to leave. I don't know why but we went to the mall.
And then, I woke up. It was only a dream.
This is a whimsical print of a sketch I drew after waking up from such a strange dream. I still think about it sometimes. Not quite a dream and not quite a nightmare, just somewhere in between.
The print is 5x5 inches, printed on-demand. I print all of my fine art prints in-house with archival paper and high quality ink so you have the best reproduction of my original work.
